Young Chef India Schools is a life changing opportunity for higher secondary students where the budding Chefs get a glimpse of the Culinary Industry and can exercise their love for cooking and gain global recognition.
It’s a platform where around 25000 students from more than 1000 schools across India take part every year to bag the most coveted title and a cash prize of Rs. 5,00,000 and a scholarship to study at our esteemed institute. The competition this year was unique as four zones battled it out in four grueling rounds. It started with the Prelims where students would bring pre-cooked food to be judged. The next level was the Zonal Semi-finals where selected students were asked to come to the campus to cook in the IIHM campus kitchen. Ten selected students per zone competed in the Zonal Finals and only two per zone reached the Mega-Finals.
The Zonal Semi-finals, Zonal Finals, and Mega-finals will be televised in NDTV Goodtimes. Vote for your favorite Mega-Finalist.
